Connecting communities to land and water
The Bow Bioregion Regeneration Association (BBRA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring ecological health and advancing community-led stewardship throughout the Bow River watershed and the broader South Saskatchewan River Basin. The BBRA exists as an entity that weaves relationships between ENGOs, Indigenous Nations, and community groups to regenerate land and water systems.
Our work emphasizes ecological restoration, watershed health, knowledge sharing, and bioregional governance that supports both environmental and community resilience.. There is so much critical, but often siloed, work being done around land restoration within the watershed, and BBRA seeks to create a coordinated response to address this. We prioritize collaboration and connection, and adhere to bioregional organizing principles.
